If you have closely looked at the strongest devil fruits list for years, Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Mi has been placed in the last positions or even completely ignored from the list. There is no mention of that devil fruit, even in the oldest books and encyclopedias on devil fruits. Note: As per the recent manga chapter 1069, it was confirmed by Dr.Vegapunk that there is no such fruit as Gomu Gomu no Mi (Gum-Gum Fruit).
