

Huntington Hospital manages approximately 1,000 base hospital paramedic assessments and contacts per year. When medical 9-1-1 is accessed, emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics from our local fire departments arrive on scene. Huntington Memorial Hospital is one of 20 hospitals in Los Angeles County that serves as a paramedic base hospital. Hospitals are evaluated by the Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services Agency (LACO EMS Agency) for specialty center designation. We have earned the following specialty center designations.
